In these festivities I would like to share some remarks, it was a year of events with emotions as strong as contradictory. The joy for having completed filming in Vietnam was also accompanied by the sad demise of some of my loved ones. Last was Andrea Foschi who has gone missing a few weeks ago.
I met Andrea while I dreamed of starting this adventure, was an injection of adrenaline and creativity.
That energy is still alive and feeds dreams.
Despite the difficulties in carrying out a self-produced project we go forward, even with long times.
We are carrying out the post production with Tommaso Orbi, precious added value to this job. From January Nadine Zara will be our assistant editor.
Finally come the news on the soundtrack that will be realized thanks to the wonderful and generous contribution of E ‘Zezi who are building a beautiful new track. A music characterized as always by the strength folk traditions of South Italy, reactivated in a progressive perspective.
The rewriting of the film during editing is difficult, frame by frame I wonder what is the deep meaning of what I captured. I return back, return on time spent and I see how everything takes on a different light. This light is joy, melancholy, fear from which flows need to find the courage and strength to achieve this dream.
